More than 180 participants from 80 organizations and 30 countries gathered to discuss major international issues such as human rights, international solidarity, sustainable development, and the strengthening of civic space.
Two members of the Jeunesses Med network took part in this event and shared their life experiences and their commitment to the cause. Their remarks highlighted the importance of meaningful youth participation in forums for consultation and decision-making.
Above all, their testimonies underscored the fundamental principle that responses to crises cannot be developed without the people who experience them on a daily basis.
Giving a voice to those directly affected and recognizing their expertise and capacity for action is essential to developing fair, relevant, and sustainable solutions.
For Jeunesses Med, this participation is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the full and meaningful involvement of young people in decision-making forums, to amplify voices from the ground, and to strengthen the links between local realities and major international debates.
